I have seen attendees at recent pen shows mention new [Noodler's]x-feather colors. Has anyone seen these at a retailer, or know anything about their release into the market?

 

I use the black every day due to my paper and nib choices. Really want to have options.

It looks like Vanness pens had them in stock, they have the Green X Feather ink in stock currently....

Your signature got me thinking about inks I have in my drawer that I knew/know I'll never use or use well. An ink exchange sounds great. Trading, kinda, which is *adding* to your offer to individually foster an ink... I'll make a list (of course, an excuse to write something.)

I saw them at a recent Commonwealth Pen Show and got the brown one, which is more like terracotta in color. When I asked if those will be regular colors or limited edition, I was told it was not certain yet, and quite possibly limited batch.

It would be so good to have a choice of colours! We have such limited availability in the UK of Noodlers, would love more choice.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
