~ I was asked if the Montblanc Heritage Rouge et Noir Serpent Marble Special Edition had been officially released yet.

Above are the links to the Montblanc USA and Montblanc China Web pages for the Fountain pen.

Tom, I think this is the most beautiful version of the R&N editions. I probably will think it to be (too?) thin, but the looks of the pen are stunning. It is hovering on my radar...

I just have some difficulty getting an overview of all variations of the R&N pens (not to mention the additional spider versions): resin, ebonite, black, coral, marbled, limited, normal. How does one get this overview? Does the FPN contain it somewhere?

Montblanc should offer a comprehensive overview of all models with all details - shouldn't be that hard for them and would be of great help.

Anyway, with some googling I came to the following list. Can anyone who spots a mistake and/or can fill the blanks correct please?

Resin - black - no eyes - SE - 2016

Resin - coral - eyes - SE - 2016 - two tone nib

Ebonite - black - eyes - LE - 2016

Resin - tropic brown - eyes - SE - 20??

Resin - serpent marble - no eyes - SE - 20??

Platinum - solitaire serpent - eyes - ?E - 20?? - two tone nib

@Ruaidhri This was an absolutely wonderful bit of writing, and I hope that you're able to maintain the style once all of the medications are out of your system.  Take care and recover quickly!

These comments make me sad as I sympathise with Ruaidhri, having great difficulties in being taken seriously. Or being taken at all (no off-colors jokes, please!) In spite of overwhelming odds,  Ruaidhri -now I know how to spell it- made a courageous decision and stuck to it. I was diagnosed with a similar growth in a place I will not reveal. Oh, well, if you insist it was Mount Sinai Hospital. But I firmly intend to walk in Ruaidhri's footsteps, if he will let me, on my next visit to Dublin.

Reminds me of the day my associates and I developed a cure for all mankind's ills and mistakenly wrote it down with invisible ink.

Was that the end of the Laboratory? Somehow the exactitude created a fully destructive device, as always!
