Edinburgh Pen/stationery Shops?

I'll be travelling to London and Edinburgh in about a month with my husband, and while I saw this thread on London pen shops (or the lack thereof), I was also wondering if there were any cute little pen/stationery shops to visit in Edinburgh (there's this thread, but it is a bit old, so I'm starting this one). Google says The Pen Shop in Edinburgh is closed, so... any suggestions? I'm not that well to do, so it doesn't have to be high end pens or stationery, but a neat souvenir and/or a nice deal would be great :)

I'm also making a stop at the Isle of Skye, but that being a less urban place, I am assuming there wouldn't be a lot of pen/stationery stuff there (maybe antique shops?). If there is, I'd be keen to hear it!

Nevermind me! I'm just an inkling, a mere pigment of your imagination...

Newington Stationers, 29 South Clerk Street is a proper stationery shop with everything - rub-down transfer lettering, fountain pens & some inks, lots of Rhodia pads & notebooks, and some new-old stock stuff.

Whenever Ive been in, the owner has been friendly, and occasionally does a discount for more than £20 spend (not sure he always does, might just be if hes in the mood.)

If you like Bibimbap, On Bap is also on South Clerk St, and does a really tasty dalsot bibimbap. (I have friends who live just round the corner from there, and my partner helped them have a baby, so were up that way fairly frequently!)

I'll add Newington Stationers to my notes (and the bibimbap place), thank you! :) Hoping I'll spot something that can become a nice souvenir pen or notebook for the trip--not that I'm not likely to buy all manner of other souvenirs, because I'll be a tourist, but useful souvenirs are the best!
