A Quick Hello From The Frozen North

Hello there FPN! My name is Dylan and I hail from the frozen wastes above the wall (wait... no wall... yet). Though spring may be coming to Edmonton, AB soon... I hope.

I've been into fountain pens for a good decade or so, but haven't really engaged a lot with the online community for some reason. It's time to change that! I look forward to connecting and engaging in the various shenanigans that may occur.

Current EDC Pens:
TWSBI 580ALR 1.1 w/ Noodler's Golden Brown
TWSBI 580AL EF w/ Diamine Marine

(and hunting for a pen for some R&K Alt-Goldgrün to live in)

Hello and welcome to this friendly corner of the universe from a fountain pen user in San Diego. There is such a wealth of information waiting for you to discover on this site. Write On!

"It's funny; in this era of email and voice mail and all those things that I did not even grow up with, a plain old paper letter takes on amazing intimacy."  Elizabeth Kostova

Welcome from one province over, in Regina.

I assume you know about Stylus Pens, but if not, go visit. You'll be pleased.

Too many pens; too many inks. But at least I've emptied two ink bottles now.

You are not wrong... that is a stunning combination. I've been debating taking the gold nib plunge into a custom 74 or 92.

The bigger concern is... when they know me by name am I in there too often? ;)

Hello and welcome to FPN, from Cape Town, South Africa.

To sit at one's table on a sunny morning, with four clear hours of uninterruptible security, plenty of nice white paper, and a [fountain] pen - that is true happiness!

- Winston Churchill
