A Very Late Review - By A Newbie, For The Bestseller, Of The "asa Aqua Blue Translucent Acrylic Nauka"

Hello

From past few days I was reading the ASA Nauka Series review by our learned fellow members like Aditkamath26 (Very Good Pics), dinuraj - Marvellous info rich review,

Sagarb - Superb Handwriting and Vaibhav (as always very detailed review with sharp pics) and after reading again and again I had decided to go for "ASA Aqua Blue Translucent Acrylic Nauka" . And let me tell you gentleman that though above mentioned people's review tempted me to buy this but I am enjoying this pen completely.
Not only me, but my colleague at workplace are as well enjoying the beauty and writing of this pen. From last couple of days this ASA demonstrator is demonstrating itself very well.
I believe, all the specs and details are already given in previous reviews, so, I thought that I will write some gibberish for sample and clicked few pics for your viewing pleasure.

It's such a lovely pen. My only problem with it, is that the ink pools up in the cap threads and in the barrel threads and it stains and is really hard to clean :(

Hmm, Any idea how to avoid this?

Amazing...now yet again I'm tempted to buy one and as usual the pocket cries.

Hahaha.....Same story with me..... temptation is bad

Very nice, thanks!!!

Thanks a lot.

Smrutib, I don't know much but I guess dishwashing liquid in water should do. If not then you'll either have to buy or make pen flush...

Well, I'm not well versed with pen flush, but there's a topic here on how to Clean/ flush an eyedropper pen. I guess that should help.. because in the case of eyedroppers I'm not really sure how they use it

Hi Sarvesh, Adit here. Im too a mere beginner with Dinuraj sir and Vaibhav sir as the driving forces behind my Naukas.

Glad to know you liked my review and pics. I consider my purpose done if someone says I got this pen because of him :)

Your pics are very nice too, and a very good review as well. Enjoy the pen in good health.

I have this pen but without a clip - it is actually one of five! so you can imagine how much I like Naukas.

Your pictures are lovely and really do it justice. Keep going, enjoy the pen, and when you feel the need, show us more pictures...

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
