Interesting. Just looked through their inks too, out of curiosity. The Montegrappa swatches are all the same swatch color-adjusted in photoshop or whatever to make it appear to be the appropriate color. Shady :ninja:

They are a little bit to anonymous for me - no location indicated - nothing. Shipping cost - not indicated.

I wouldn't risk my money there - yet.

Anybody already bought there?

Anybody already bought there?

I second the question

It seems someone is buying stuff, because the fine nib option seems to be sold out on several of the models I looked at (all only with medium or fine as an option, maybe startup-related to minimize stock on hand?).

I'd bet that the proportion of FPN vs non-FPN people who have bought there skews heavily toward the latter.

Hmm.. I thought their Black Friday deals were decent but they lowered the prices for this sale???

I feel so bad.

You bought something from them on Black Friday? How was it?

Too bad its price is lowered. :( Sorry for you...

Bought a few pens from them since they were selling on Ebay and never had any trouble dealing with them.

But it's quite annoying to see the price drop in just two weeks :(

Looks like a very well organized and professionally made site. Prices are indeed very attractive. However postage is crazy high: $23.00 for a $9.00 ink bottle? Where are they located?

On their About Us page: https://www.endlesspens.com/about

Knowing the importance of providing direct customer service, we eliminated the two major costs: Purchasing from local distributors who keep extremely high margins. Selling through online platforms...

It sounds like gray market products.

Where are they located?

US apparently - sending from US has become very expensive!

Have read the ABOUT US section?

Somebody copied a sales handbook. Lots of unnecessary text - I could write that content in 3-4 sentences using also lowercase characters.

I placed an online order with them last night and got a notice of shipment with tracking number this morning. Their prices on Pelikans were very good and may give us some idea of what they actually wholesale for. I should receive the pens in three days and will report back then.

Edited to add that the shipping on my order (to California) was $12, a price I thought reasonable for what I purchased.

I just ordered a Caran d'Ache bright red mechanical pencil. Price $10 from $18, shipping $3.99 to US address. Seems right. I have a few models of vintage CdA pencils which I won't carry in my pocket to check off my to-do list. This seems a colorful answer. I'll post some feedback when i get it. They take PayPal so easy order.

Certainly very low prices - try them, Dr.Jekyll.

If they had the m200 Brown Marble I would've jumped on it before I even knew this website existed 😂 If that shows up at any point, I won't hesitate.

Today I ordered a blue Waterman Exception with a medium nib for $198 US normally around $500 Cdn. I got a shipping notice from US Post office that it has been picked up in TAMPA, FL 33679 and they are only charging $10 US for shipping to Canada. Ill post an update when it arrives.

I wish I hadn't already enough pens, otherwise I would add some Pelikans. Unfortunately, they don't have M1000 nibs in EF - only in M - Pelikan M is good for painting walls.

But not everything is exceptionally cheap - example:
Parker Duofold Prestige Centennial Chiseled

Endless Pens $375
Amazon $369

Waterman Exception is normally around 300 not 500 - still - 200 is VERY good.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
