When Was The Namiki Falcon Blue *resin* Made?

Recommended Posts

I have a blue resin Falcon. I know the model was discontinued before 2007 because I found an email to a friend stating as much. Unfortunately, my saved emails only go back that far so I can't determine when I bought it. Pretty sure I bought it from Levenger (Yikes!). I've done a couple of searches but can't seem to sort through all the recent info and what "historical" data I find seems to be more intent on discussing the Elabo v. the Falcon than anything else. Does anyone know when this pen was made/sold?

Thank you.

do you have the date markings on the nib?

from there we can make a vague guess of a good 1-4 year estimate

Hi,

Sorry, I don't come on here often and failed to notice this reply. The marking is B199, so if I read the link you gave me correctly, that is January of 1999. That would jibe well with when I recall purchasing it. Thanks for the help!

Do you want to sell it? Is there any box included?

I am collecting all namiki falcon pens before engraving Pilot.

Sorry, no. Rather fond of it.
