Just wanted to check: eyedropper pens come with #35 Kanwrite nibs, and CC pens with #5 Schmidt nibs. Aren't the #35 nibs similar in size to a #6 JoWo / Bock / Schmidt nib?

I'm tempted by this group buy (as always) - but a little *less* tempted by the prospect of a smaller nib. [Then again, the lure of a cheaper price...]

Dear All,

We thought of providing these pens at less price. We can give these pens with Jowo Nibs @ 10USD extra.

I will add the nib options shortly.

Also, I want to reiterate that Schmidt #5 nibs are proportionally proper to the Size of these Model 4S and Model 4CS Pens

Thanks Mr Kandan MP, the nibs do look well proportioned for the pens. I already have some spare #5 JoWo nibs, so I'm grateful for the new option you're adding. Still have to work out whether this fits within my budget, though!

Mr. Kandan

Can you offer option of Jowo 6 and not Jowo 5. I have five of your pens with Jowo 6 and no others with Jowo 5. One of the appeals of yiur pens is as I purchase more I have a full array of nib choices that I can switch from one Ranga pen to another. I couldn't buy this one with the Jowo 5 because I would not be able to switch the nib with my other Ranga screw in nibs. Not sure if others feel the same way.

I have submitted the form for one eyedropper pen. Kindly test the nib for smoothness and wetness before dispatching.

I have used Indian eyedropper pens, like Artex and Chelpark, during my school days where the threads were tight enough to render silicon grease useless. In fact, I have learnt of such a solution recently in this forum. I am hoping, if possible, that the threads on my pen would be tight enough to prevent any leakage on their own.

Order submitted for two pens, a C/C with #6 Bock Broad, and One without a nib.

Question: the ED with the Kanwrite nibs, is the feed ebonite? Does it friction fit into the section, and if so, is there anything that sets the depth of the feed and Nib? I had a bad experience with an ED that had that setup, so I'm wary.

Hello all, Dear Mr Kandan

I could not find the Solid Orange(P10) colour on the google form. Is it sold out or has it just been forgotten ?

I was also wondering what would this orange look like in matte finish, anyone made a photograph ?

Ahh, so many options and colours to choose from ...

Hi, Is there an option to thread it for JOWO #5? Most of my pens are #5 nibs... Or will a #6 JOWO accept my #5?

And what is no 21? Solid Olive?

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
