Place To Buy Both Akkermann And Montblanc

Hi, everybody. This is my first time posting in the ink section. I concentrated on pens for the first year and haven't really paid attention to inks, but now that I have most of the pens that I want and I'm writing with them one a regular basis, I would like to try some inks out to find myself a basic ink palette of light blues, dark blues, greys, browns, greens and reds. My goal is to find inks that are compatible with my pens (but one particular ink doesn't have to be compatible with all the pens because I think that would be asking too much) and are colors that i enjoy. I attached a photo of my current pens and if you have that pen can you share your experience with inks that work with them. Also, are there any online shops that have both Montblanc and Akkermann inks? I would like to try out some Akkermann because I really like the bottles and would like to reuse the bottle for other inks that have less practical bottle designs.

Thanks for everyones reply.

The inks that I currently have are:

Montblanc Irish Green (brought from Massdrop)

MB Toffee Brown (Massdrop)

Iroshizuku KonPeki, Yama Budo, and Tsukushi (Massdrop)

Diamine Grey, Red Dragon, Golden Brown

Namiki Blue

Noodler's Heart of Darkness, Purple, 54 Massachusetts,

Yep, Anderson pens is the only place in the US that carries both brands, although they don't carry the entire line of Akkerman inks. You have to go to Vanness for that and they don't stock Montblanc. Dromgoole's in Houston stocks Montblanc, but not Akkerman.

All the Best.

Nice collection of pens you have there.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

@Ruaidhri This was an absolutely wonderful bit of writing, and I hope that you're able to maintain the style once all of the medications are out of your system.  Take care and recover quickly!

These comments make me sad as I sympathise with Ruaidhri, having great difficulties in being taken seriously. Or being taken at all (no off-colors jokes, please!) In spite of overwhelming odds,  Ruaidhri -now I know how to spell it- made a courageous decision and stuck to it. I was diagnosed with a similar growth in a place I will not reveal. Oh, well, if you insist it was Mount Sinai Hospital. But I firmly intend to walk in Ruaidhri's footsteps, if he will let me, on my next visit to Dublin.

Reminds me of the day my associates and I developed a cure for all mankind's ills and mistakenly wrote it down with invisible ink.

Was that the end of the Laboratory? Somehow the exactitude created a fully destructive device, as always!
