Cult Pens 10% Off Fp's

Is this automatic or do I have to add something to my cart in addition to a Pelican pen over £100 to get the free pen case?

AFAIK, the free pen case offer has expired. The 10% off is still ongoing.

Normally, you have to add the freebies to the basket and it will tell you to do so on the offer.

Thanks for the heads up on this offer. Acquired the Kaweco Dia2 Amber set.

Thanks for the heads up on this offer. Acquired the Kaweco Dia2 Amber set.

It is a 1000 piece LE.

The Dia 2 resembles the Parker Duofold. IMO, a steel nib at that price is unacceptable.

F or M nib?

Enjoy the set. Did you request for a check before dispatch?

I didn't ask for a check, but the pens write beautifully.

I agree it is pricy for a steel nib, but the design, appearance. and quality of the pens made it worthwhile for me. I am very pleased.

What a beautiful pen, and I like that it has history behind it too. Bock steel nibs write better than some gold ones I have, that's the bottom line. Hmmm, tempting ......

I chose my user name years ago - I have no links to BBS pens (other than owning one!)

Cultpens is one of my favourite retailers. I ordered a TWSBI eco the day before yesterday and it came last night.

I always love that they put a little pack of sweets in and I got a free fineliner too XD

It is! :)

I certainly agree that steel is as good as gold for writing (but I don't enjoy flex).

Hoy! I thought their prices looked a little high - then I noticed they were in pounds, not dollars, and they got even higher! 10% off is not enough. 30%, 50% might make it worth it.

It depends on what pen company you are looking at. I just bought a Platinum Izumo at an incredible price - half of what you can them for in the U.S.

Using right now:

Visconti Voyager 30 "M" nib running Birmingham Streetcar

Jinhao 9019 "EF" nib running Birmingham Railroad Spike

Stipula Adagio "F" nib running Birmingham Violet Sea Snail

Pelikan M1000 "F" nib running Birmingham Sugar Kelp

For some of the prices after the discount some pens were about what you can get them in the US. Remember to look at the Ex vat prices. But if you look at Pelikan even without the discount it would be hard to find them cheeper.

Just bought a FC Loom FP-M and a Lamy Joy set from them.

Now considering the M805 Stresemann.... deciding M or F nib...(would be my first Pelikan)

Before there is a the pen case special offer without extra 10% off. Now the pen case offer is expired I think.

Just to add they're also doing 25% off all Sheaffer, and 30% off Cross.

Hello

I just wanted to sy thanks for creating this thread, I got my brand new Pelikan M1000 with a wonderful EF nib and a pretty pelikan leather case. They added also a Stadler gel pen and some gummy bears, all free. All for 321 £ and it took 24 hours from ordering to enjoying the pen. Wonderful service.

Hi Columela,

Great you hear you got a M1000 in EF nib. Congrats. Can you show a writing sample? I'm thinking of purchasing an M1000 too from Cult pens, but am doubting if i should get the EF or the F nib

Due to the declining British Pound I took the opportunity and ordered too. Excellent service and really fast.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
