What Japanese Pen Did You Receive In The Mail Today?

Yesterday I received a Sailor Pro Gear Ocean with a Broad Cursive Italic nib from the Nibsmith, Dan Smith. The pics do not really do this pen justice.

I have also included my earlier posted Standard Sailor 1911s. The black one is from Japan by way of Amazon and has a Medium 21 K nib. The blue one is from Mr. Motishaw at Clasic Fountain Pens and has a 14K Medium Fine nib.

How do you guys get your jp stuff shipped? I've been using either BigInJapan to buy directly and then using their address when checking out, and have BiJ ship it to me - or more recently I've been using FromJapan (which is a lot easier since you buy directly through their website from places like Amazon)

As to shipping, I have had at least two pens lost that were shipped Japan Post. EMS is more expensive, but much faster. I don't buy foreign unless the deal is great. In the US, USPS Priority Mail gets to me in 2 or 3 days max.

Nagasawa Kobe Memo with an MF nib. Its a cartridge only pen. I guess when they cut down the Sailor Pro Gear, there was not enough length for the converter. Still a somewhat unique pocket pen. It is a posting pen. Its even threaded on the top so you can secure your post.

I was on Ebay the other day and bid in two auctions for these older pens. The little Sailor has a 2000 date on its sticker and writes great. Its a cartridge only pen. The other stripped one is a Pilot. It has a Con 40 converter. I flushed and flushed it.I don't think it had ever been flushed. The sailor is almost new and one flushing cleaned it out. Anyone know how old the Pilot is?
