Hi All,

Recently, we did an India Exclusive Group Buy, for ASA Azaadi. A model which was designed after Conway Stewart Churchill model.

Here I am producing a Group Picture of the pens made with Conway Stewart, Omas and Cocktail Blanks, for some of our customers.

Thanks for looking.

Sorry to have missed it. Maybe there will be another opportunity.

Add lightness and simplicate.

I had bought the Burgandy crush version of Azadi. I must say that the material looks stunning more so over with the Azadi design it has become my work horse EDC pen.

It's worth every penny spent on this pen, a must have in collection.

I am attaching a pic of my Azadi Burgandy crush.

Recently received my customised ASA Azzadi in Conway Stewart Dartmoor blank. The pen is superbly made. It's perfectly balanced and weighs ideally for everyday use. The beauty of the material cannot be adequately described in words. One needs to see it in person to appreciate its dazzle. The Jowo fine duo tone fine nib lays down a fine wet line. Worth the time waiting for it.

Hello.
Having ordered multiple pens from A.S.A Pens and being a satisfied customer I had to grab this chance for getting a well made pen with some amazing Conway Stewart Acrylics at heavily discounted prices.I went for the Red Cherry one as I seem to have begun gravitating towards Red pens now a days.
I received my pen in the standard A.S.A Pens packaging, which being a frequent customer,is more than familiar to me.

Here it is with my other 2 ASA Beauties

The pen is a Large Sized pen modeled on the C.S Churchill. The CS Materials have an amazing depth which has been bought out by the amazing craftsmanship of ASA.

I got my custom Azadi in CS burgundy crush. It is one of the most comfortable pens. The finish is impeccable. Mine has a black oxide jowo B nib and is an excellent writer.

I havent put down the pen from the time I received it. Thank you Subramaniam sir for this masterpiece of a creation and arranging for the amazing cs blanks.

Pics attached.

Hello dear pen friends.

I have been a customer of ASA pens for few years. I have always been satisfied with customer service of Mr Subramaniam of ASA pens.

In this group buy I went for ASA Azadi in stock orange blank with JoWo F nib. It has been the costliest pen that I used that I have paid for.

I am very happy with the pen. When I saw friends who had got it made with Conway Stwarart blanks or other exotic blanks, I felt I too should have taken that plunge. I might do that in future.

The pen has a nice hourglass section. It is very comfortable. Even though pen looks a bit big, it is very light and well balanced. I have used it as daily writer and finished about 5 fills. Love it.

I got my ASA Azaadi in the beginning of this month. post-132715-0-45629500-1525000925_thumb.jpg

This pen is based on the CS Churchill fountain pen.

It is a big fountain pen, made of the standard Midnight Blue acrylic offered by Subramaniam ji, and has a JoWo #6 EF black oxide coated nib.

Comparing with an ASA Rainbow of the same material, it is clear how big the pen is.

post-132715-0-63106100-1525000984_thumb.jpg

It has a screw-on cap, with a plain finial and an exclamation mark shaped clip, which is minimalistic and effective. The pen is big and well balanced, but it does not post well.

The section is quite thick, and is best suited for people with big hands (like me). The nib is rather smooth, with a remarkably wet line, and writes well out of the box. It is not nail-hard, but line variation is negligible. No skipping or hard starts noted, even with drier inks like 4001 blue black.

This pen is my EDC, and has not remained uninked since I got it. Another remarkable piece by ASA and Subbu ji *-*

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
