Hello Kandan M.P.:

Are you sending tracking numbers to buyers upon shipment?

"We have very limited number of pens. Pens would be shipped in 1 week from payment. So No waiting time . Enjoy the benefit of Group buy price with no waiting time"

My payment was sent on 4/4/18, so it would seem my Pen should have shipped at the latest on Weds. 4/11, or Thurs 4/12...

I have not received any tracking number or notice of shipment....can you forward me the tracking number?

Thank-you in advance,

Bill

I love the look of the rounded Majestic, but at nearly 7", I think it would be too big for me to use as an everyday writer. If this style (shape, proportions, trim, etc.) were ever offered in a pen closer to the size of a Model 3, however, I'd snatch one up in a heartbeat. <3

Dear All,

Our Postal office is closed up for Software upgrade for a week and it is reopening on Monday.

So the shipment will start on Monday (16th April). Pens are ready.

Apologies for the slight delay which is not in our control.

Here you go....

This is a custom Ranga that didn't cost any extra and I got it in about 15 days form India.

<Not kidding>

It's called a 3CS (clipless) that was special ordered at 5 inches long.

The "S" in the 3CS means smaller diameter section than the regular 3C.

This pen is very well made.

The threads are nearly perfect (Better than the Edison)

Top to bottom

FPR Himalayan

Ranga 3CS-5" clipless

Edison Beaumont

FPR Triveni Jr.

Yes...I like smaller pens. :D

Yeah, I can't wait to see this behemoth. I once asked a very prominent pen maker here in the America if he could add a clip to one of his oversized pens and he said it couldn't be done. Kind of curious how Ranga does it.

@Nail-Bender, I really like the look of that FPR Triveni! Is that the brown ebonite - and does it really have a bit of a 'burnt orange' or orange/brown cast to it, or is that a trick of the light? Thanks!

The 1st pic was taken under flourescent light.

This is a natural light pic and I'd say that it does have just a bit of an orange tint to it but not much.

I switched the clip out for a Himalayan one because I thought it looked cheap.

The Himalayan clip is a perfect fit on the Triveni.

Thanks for that - it's still (to my eyes) a richer, more attractive brown than my original FPR Triveni (which I'd characterise as a more mustard-brown, almost khaki?). I don't need another FPR pen right now (if I keep telling myself that, I may eventually believe it!) - but if that changes, the brown ebonite Triveni will be in my line of sight...

That's great to hear. I am loving how this majestic pen looks especially with the black two ends but I too feel that this size would be too big for me. I will wait until a smaller version comes out, I think, before I order. Your pens are just stunningly beautiful.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
