<i>Many boys will bring you flowers. But someday you'll meet a boy who will learn your favourite flower, your favourite song, your favourite sweet. And even if he is too poor to give you any of them, it won't matter because he will have taken the time to know you as no one else does. Only that boy earns your heart-Leigh Bardugo. For those that are curious the link is to a Goulet video called "7 Fountain Pen Myths."

"It's funny; in this era of email and voice mail and all those things that I did not even grow up with, a plain old paper letter takes on amazing intimacy."  Elizabeth Kostova

Saw that earlier today. There was a link to it in today's Goulet Communique. The video is quite amusing (well, except for the part showing a nib being mangled... :yikes:).

Brian Goulet was clearly having way too much fun making the video. One of the YouTube viewer comments was a suggestion to re-play the video next Hallowe'en.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Somewhat overdone.

I just sent this off to several people who I have introduced to the wonder of FP usage.

I love it!

Nails may be lent.........yet we have many threads here where some jack hammer handed individual managed to bend a nail.

One does have the time to show how a fountain pen is held and tell, use no pressure.......the question is do you have that time?

German vintage '50-70 semi-flex stubs and those in oblique give the real thing in On Demand line variation. Modern Oblique is a waste of money for a shadow of line variation. Being too lazy to Hunt for affordable vintage oblique pens, lets you 'hunt' for line variation instead of having it.

Hilarious! Thanks for sharing. Love the Goulets sense of humor.
