Beautiful pens! So is there actually a diaphragm in those pens like the old Parkers? I can't see anything in the ink chamber.

Only Transparent and Light Blue transparent

Now that is smart!

I am searching for days for the fully transparent one, but this one without the diaphragm really looks great!

Let's wait for an eBay seller with this version though ...

Considering that the new WS 601 colors showed up after a couple of days (on the third?), let's give it another day or two before they show up on ebay.

There are only 36 white ones available on Taobao at the moment. These babies are selling fast!

I'm going to hold out for the green with a medium nib...not going to miss out on the green the way I did with the Lingmo Lorelei!!

I probably not going to have the 626 but I am waiting for Wing Sung to release parts retail sale for the 601 and the 626 nib also.

I'm really hoping I can find a nice soft vintage gold nib to put in the 626.

Oh...Just like WS 601, the first batch of WS 626 have some problem...

The Clip are easy to be separated and the OEM factory did not deal with the thread well. And the plating layer...

626 now I do not think they are final product...

It seems that victo is not good at test.

The first batch ... Phase IV Clinic Experiment?...

Yikes, maybe I'll buy one next year after the kinks are worked out. They do look beautiful though!

As with the WS 601, I better let the first few batches pass me by.

retail customers are increasingly treated as Bata Tester which company do not even need to pay to get them to work and in fact making money off them ; this is bad business practice at play ; I am pretty disappointed in Victo bringing such shame to a great name. In any case I think straight off copying each and every styling cue of the Sheaffer Balance today is to me no longer being possible to be considered as a homage. There really is no need to fashion the white dot, nor to have the clip exactly the same shaped. The Balance of course had been copied over and over again , even by Sheaffer themselves ( and those 90s copy are not really tat good either ); Ranga, Edison, and plenty others too, there is noting wrong about that when the original one had long gone but not to the point how the 626 being fashioned.

Instead I think Victo would be best to rekindle customers in better product and more sensible styling and decent workmanship. Needless to say such consistent bad performances simply are not encouraging at all

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
