It’S Alive. Mwahaha! Falcon Frankenpen

So last year I had a broken Aurora Ipsilon body. I finally found a donor body from my Monteverdi Invincia deluxe. Success come with an addiction.......

So this year I wondered what else I could mix and match. I have recently acquired a pilot falcon resin which I adore. I do find the body light. So I thought 💡. Why not?

So my falcon section happens to screw right in. The disease is spreading

Congratulations. Always fun when things work out like this. Just a suggestion in case you didn't (or others are tempted to try this) - always measure to make sure that the nib will clear the end of the inner cap when you put the cap on. Excitement rapidly turns to panic when it doesn't and you find out when feels kind of funny when you screw the cap on. Been there, done that.....

We had a similar problem with a Leroy Fairchild nib inside a tiny Wahl ringtop. Luckily, Mr. Minuskin was able to straighten it out.

Of course I now have to do something with my headless falcon. Yep, pilot parallel fits perfectly with cartridge and caps screws on just fine

They do this in Cuba only with cars.

Congratulations, Ichiro, that Monteverde body and Falcon section actually look quite good together.
