Wing Sung Balance

Tefolim

Recommended Posts

It will be on sale after the totally improved Wing Sung 601(Now, it is the first edition. I advice to wait for the second edition)

The name of the Wing Sung's balance haven't been decided.

And it said that the boss of Victo(The company gained license for using Wing Sung brand of Wing Sung 6xx series.) broke his Sheaffer Balance carelessly.

Only one photo now.

Wow, now if they only came in a broad nib.

Vikto's track record recently leave me wondering though ... Is this going to be a C/C or is Vikto trying to gun the vintage way .. ( lever fill might be )

Wow from me too! I like the brown toned ones best. I only hope they come in a variety of nib options. Thanks for sharing.

- Kaigelu 316 Modification (250 #6 Bock Nib / Beaufort Ink Converter)
- Titanium Bock Nib - Kaigelu 316 - Beaufort Ink

- Bock Rollerball Nib In Jinhao 886 Pen - Beaufort Ink Converter

Hmm. If that's what's prompted this, I wonder what other pens we could get him to carelessly break...?

That's celluloid, right? It looks stunning.

There will be Celluloid version and non-Celluloid version. Here are Celluloid version.

I am allowed to post a photo of the early semi-finished product comparing with Sheaffer in October, 2017.

The right one is the early semi-finished product, and the nib is not the nib which will be applied finally. There will be a Wing Sung's logo on the nib.

The new Wing Sung after totally improved 601 use Converter.

There will be Celluloid and non-Celluloid verison.

The material may be different from the final product.

Tefolium, that is a fascinating piece of news about a great-looking pen. Thank you for keeping FPN members up to date on new developments in the Chinese pen world.

There will be 12 colours.

Balance-style Wing Sung is named 626, having both resin and Celluoid versions.

Another new Wing Sung with plain cap is named 627, having wood and resin versions.

And special edition, well:)

They can not be on sale on January.

The improved 601 will on sale after Chinese New Year(Feb.). And the 626 & 627 are later than the improved 601.

Wee.

They look simply stunning.

It is really fascinating that Wing Sung are doing this now. I wonder what has prompted this level of activity? Not complaining, as I think we'll all benefit, just curious as to why this level of innovation seems to be happening just as Jinhao seems to be reducing its almost frantic pace of new model releases.

Regards,

Richard.

I have more Chinese pens then I can shake a stick at but it looks like I'm going to have to get some more. These look amazing and if they can hold to the quality standard that Wing Sung has achieved over the last year or so they will be outstanding pens. Just to look at them makes them work as eye candy.

As someone who is looking for an OS Balance as we speak, it will be impossible to resist giving one of these a try out. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that they don't all come with fine nibs that are next to useless for me........
