I've enjoyed this week's offerings.

Here is my oldest bottle. Parker Super Quink Permanent Black. The wonderful Sinistral1 sent me this and it is very much treasured because of that.
From a small amount of research, I think it dates from around the early 1960s.

It's blacker than the blackest fountain pen ink, currently made, that I've ever tried, Noodler's Texas Black Bat and reveals a beautiful blue colour when washed over whilst keeping the original line. I have often looked out for some on eBay to no avail and continue to do so every now and then. It is a beautiful ink for sketching with. Perhaps my favourite black. :rolleyes:

Yes, I agree. I tend to forget about it and it's a welcome surprise when I return to it.
