Mobin-Sahib, welcome, and you have joined a group where people appreciate the art of actually writing with a fountain pen.

I am Indian, but, my Mausi is married to a gentleman who is originally from Bhawalpur, and they now live in Lahore.

Do you see the image of the vintage car as my profile picture? The registration plate says 'BWP 1' meaning 'Bahawalpur 1'. The car belonged to the Nawab of the princely state of Bahalpur during the pre-partition era of British Raj.

Thank you, Sid, for such a gracious welcome. Yours is a beautiful country. And now you have family and a new friend in Pakistan. :)

It's a beautiful car. Is it yours?

Khan-Sahib, it is a beautiful car, and it is great that it belonged to the Nawab of Bhawalpur.

Mobin-Sahib- thanks for your kind comments.

Welcome, Mobin !

I, too, enjoy writing. I shave with a Rolls Razor, that came into my family sixty years ago.

Auf freiem Grund mit freiem Volke stehn.
Zum Augenblicke dürft ich sagen:
Verweile doch, du bist so schön !

Hello Sasha. Now the Rolls users show true commitment to the art. My daily driver for the past 8 months has been a much modern Merkur Futur... in gold  . It was on sale and I just couldn't resist myself.
