I'm A Sad, Pathetic Stationery Junkie.

Just reordered my favorite diary with weekly pages from Nolty:  Size: 3.7 x 5.7 inches (9.5 x 14.4 cm) Japan Management Association Management Center NOLTY 2023 Weekly Planner, Noritsu Notebook, Gold, Black, 3121

The leather cover is great and the weeks are useful.  Its only problem is that the months are Gantt rather than the usual quad style.  Last year I found a small quad monthly Nolty diary with just the months, cut that up, sewed it into a booklet, and stuck it in the larger diary.  This year I can't find the little monthly diary in the right size; they are all somewhat bigger.   I guess I'll have to find some paper, sew a little book, and use a pen and ruler to make the months.  Humph!

Any suggestions?

Here is the current layout:

Looking for this in a 3.7 x 5.7 format, one month when the book is open.

I got two notebooks, or really six, for Christmas. One is a Nuuna notebook, and the set of five are a USPS and Field Notes collaboration of Schulz or Peanuts.  The photo also includes a necklace featuring Jupiter that I received.

Oh no, I hope I don't go down this rabbit hole.

I've just purchased a cheap Lamy fountain pen.

Thank you inkypete. Not going out today, it's 40C in Adelaide right now.

Yes agreed, Misfit, but there's paper .... and there's very expensive paper.

I'll get paper commensurate with the quality of the Lamy Safari. Not a hand-made boutique special, made the same way as it was in 1860, cased in a leather-bound cover.

I bought my wife this blue leather 6-pen case, after seeing my red one work out OK, and it arrived in time (and then some) to masquerade as a Christmas present:

I mentally heard Schroder playing as I read your post. Nice haul!

Super cool!!

Once when my Mom and I were visiting St. Louis, we went to a revolving rooftop restaurant. There was a piano player, so we asked the waiter to give a request for anything from Vince Guiraldi.   I don’t remember if it was Linus and Lucy or the Christmas song.  We learned that it was a welcome request compared to what was usually requested. Thanks for inspiring that memory.

Segway: my late wife's cat was named Linus after the Peanuts character.

Speaking of meringue,  I did not make this, my offspring did, but the mushrooms are meringue.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
