Need Help With Hard Starting Noodler's Ahab..

I just receive my noodler's ahab, i really enjoy it, it's a very smooth writing fine nib, but the problem is, the nib seems like keep drying out even caped if you dont use it for a long period of time..

 

So does anyone know what I can do to solve this problem? it would be a shame to bench this pen cause I really enjoy using it when it's working properly.

Yes. I call it "adjusting the nut that holds the pen barrel". :lticaptd: Very simply -- Enjoy using your Noodler's Ahab more often. Okay, meet you half way. Try Pilot black ink. It is slower to dry than most inks. For long-term neglect, try a Pilot Varsity.

so nobody knows how to fix this problem? a pen that dont write after overnight is really annoying.. i love how this pen feels and write... but if this problem remains... i cant use a pen that dont write whenever i pick it up... its the main reason why i dont use ballpoint anymore..

 

nevermind... it seems like I may have accidentally fix the problem... not sure what i did... but it doesnt dry up overnight anymore... at least it seems like that is the case..

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..
