Do you know this person?

She has reviewed and tested more than 300 inks inks, for now. Her reviews are very detailed, and complete.

Enjoy! :)

Yeah, her videos are great... whenever I'm researching an ink, she's usually done a video on it. :D

I have just discovered it. It is a great "inkbrary", in addition to all the reviews, here.

I just love the way she goes through every detail. Great videos!

Hi Noihvo, et al,

Yes, I've also heard her allude to health problems and unemployment in past videos, too. :(

Hope all is well with her.

You can follow her on instagram, she's somewhat active there.

Going by her posts she seems to have been busy with health and job, I guess little time for youtube.

Hope she does more videos in the future, I do love them!

I miss VittaR. I mean I'm glad she is busy with a job if so, but no one does close to as good a job in ink analysis as her.

I love her enthusiasm. She gets it.

Whatever happened to VittaR? She had such great ink reviews but her last upload on her YouTube was 3 years ago. Hope it all worked for her.

I had no idea about VittaR. What an impressive library of ink reviews! I just watched one at random (Diamine Ancient Copper). If all her videos are even close to that, then :yikes:

Great reviews and the girl is great too. Any news?

Seeking a Parker Duofold Centennial cap top medallion/cover/decal.
My Mosaic Black Centennial MK2 lost it (used to have silver color decal).

Preferably MK2. MK3 or MK1 is also OK as long as it fits.
Preferably EU.

VittaR said in one of her last videos that trying to compare inks in the way she was doing was making it untenable which was the reason she stopped. It was a shame because her videos on inks were the best and most comprehensive. I still go back and watch reviews of specific inks I am curious about.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
