Close call.

Mine is 2 parts KWZ Pea Green and 1 part R&K Helianthus.
Mine is slightly darker. If I wanted to be picky picky I would add some water to thin my mix.

The real one is nicer, subtle, more complex and I'm delighted I finally bought some - but mine doesn't feather as much on my Mnemosyne swab cards

Yeah, hey wait a minute. Lgsoltek is right, there's no KWZ Pea Green. Or have Tas and Cyber6 been holding out on their good friends?

ps There is a KWZ Pine Green, but that doesn't look like the right color for this mix.

Wait, I don't remember there being a KWZI Pea Green.

WHAT?!

One one my favourite KWZ inks. Get some. Seriously.

Cyber6, tell him.

(and thank you 😊)

It's strange, Tas has been mentioning KWZ Pea Green for over two years, and none of us have bothered to ask about it! We must be asleep at the wheel. But it's not listed at Vanness, not listed at the KWZ web site. Maybe it's a secret ink.

And at the BauerInk.ca web site, there is a background image of KWZ ink bottles, one of which shows a partial name "Green" that looks like it could be this ink, which isn't like any of the murky or non-murky greens at Vanness, but it's not listed there for sale.

It's bad enough trying to find limited edition, pen show exclusives, store exclusive inks. Now we have to find out about secret inks? What will these nefarious ink tormentors think up next? :gaah:

OK, found it. In the 2015 Full List of KWZ inks, it's listed as #3100 (new numbering) #52 (old numbering) as a waterproof ink. Vanness has never sold any of the water-resistant or waterproof inks from KWZ. It's a lighter valued ink. But even the KWZ web site doesn't list this ink or any other waterproof inks.

I know the water resistant inks had weird ghosting issues; I know because I have bottles of Violet #2 and Violet #7 that ghost green onto the verso after a few months. I remember now Konrad mentioning these inks had some problems.

Anyway this isn't a standard ink. It's non-standard enough that Konrad may not even be making it anymore. Maybe he only makes it for desperate special friends. I'm sure I don't qualify as I buy too many Sailor bespoke inks.

Anyway here is the link to the 2015 full list if you want to check out Cyber6's swab and ultre-wet writing sample.

Now I'll have to add Ina-ho to my list of inks that I must have.

LOL

I miss the waterproof inks.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Tas...I much prefer your Ina-ho to their Ina-ho...but, alas, no KWZ Pea Green. I intensely dislike feathering inks and I prefer the more saturated color.

Thanks so much for the recipe.

Any other nice recipes with Ina Ho? I'm temted to add a few drops of either pilot black or maybe something like tsuki yo or syo ro to a small vial. But I've never mixed before, so any suggestions?

"we make the path by walking" :)

Go for it. Would love to see your results.

I've not mixed with Ina Ho for a while. I've noticed how it darkens considerably if left in a pen for a while. I know this is true of many inks but for me none as much so as Ina Ho.

My Ondoro loves it and they've been married for a while
