Visconti Race Tech Limited Edition

The limited Edition Race Tech pen is an ode to racing and is packed full of racing themes: The lightening holes on the clip, the black and white checkered finishing flag enameled on the pen's band, the body is crafted from sturdy race ready carbon fiber and all parts are trimmed in racing red resin. The Race Tech is limited to 388 pieces worldwide and is available in fountain pen and Rollerball. The fountain pen accepts cartridges or converter and is outfitted with the Visconti tubular chromium nib. Each pen is packaged in a luxury box. This beautiful tribute to racing is composed of red resin and carbon fiber with chrome plated trims.

Hi, In my search for unusual pens I have just bought one in September 2021. I was surprised tjat with a limited edition there were still new ones left. As well as the look of it, I was interested in the tubular chromium nib. I got the E/F one, or so I thought but it still seems to write like a medium. I need to get my eyeglass out to check.

It does feel lovely in the hand, the carbon fibre and red resin are just silky smooth. I will be adding it to my pen display as it also looks so beautiful, and yes I am also a petrol head.

Are there any other Visconti pens with the same nib?

Regards

Barb

@Ruaidhri This was an absolutely wonderful bit of writing, and I hope that you're able to maintain the style once all of the medications are out of your system.  Take care and recover quickly!

These comments make me sad as I sympathise with Ruaidhri, having great difficulties in being taken seriously. Or being taken at all (no off-colors jokes, please!) In spite of overwhelming odds,  Ruaidhri -now I know how to spell it- made a courageous decision and stuck to it. I was diagnosed with a similar growth in a place I will not reveal. Oh, well, if you insist it was Mount Sinai Hospital. But I firmly intend to walk in Ruaidhri's footsteps, if he will let me, on my next visit to Dublin.

Reminds me of the day my associates and I developed a cure for all mankind's ills and mistakenly wrote it down with invisible ink.

Was that the end of the Laboratory? Somehow the exactitude created a fully destructive device, as always!
