I'd be happy with a bottle of ink. The chances of it being a pen (here) would be vanishingly small - assuming we even had a tree of course!

 

So, OP, the big reveal as it happens please! :D

 

I would also be happy with a bottle of ink. I don't expect a MB pen to be within the budget.

Anyway, off to visit my family now.

given the aboveaverage size of the middleage clientele I rubbed shoulders with at MB Boutique in recent weeks, I am indeed thankful MB doesn't market lingerie! :lol:

Shoppers at La Perla down the road appear to be of a more svelte appetite.

Loathe La Perla. They make cup sizes up to oh-my-God, but refuse to produce a band width to stretch around any rib size other than tiny or emaciated. Normal sized women need not bother.

I have all the MB products I need, except a 1920's Safety Pen with a weak kneed wet noodle.

 

OK, I'd take something from the '30's too....if they are being given away.

 

My '50's set is has a semi&maxi so I'm good there.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

 

 

The cheapest lessons are from those who learned expensive lessons. Ignorance is best for learning expensive lessons.

Ok, now it seems I can't put up any photo's from my smartphone. With me working in IT, and thousands of engineers working hard on "user experience".

And the scary part is: these are the guys who are working on self driving cars !

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
