Oh, I dunno. It might look good with something such as Aurora blue or Diamine ancient copper. I'll have to see it in person because right now it doesn't speak to me.

I don't know, it's too fuffy for me, and I wear bunny slippers.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

If Pacific Blue runs more blue-toned, I may like it -- after all I like stuff like Diamine Turquoise and vintage Skrip Peacock Blue. OTOH, if it's more green-leaning -- like yeah, Diablo Menthe....

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

If it's the same color as the pen then, no.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Well, I do like turquoise, and it seems this might be somewhere in that direction. Though as Lamy already has a turquoise, I'm not sure why they'd make another one as a limited-edition. I think I'll wait to see the actual ink before getting too fussed one way or t'other. (It's odd how Lamy can be all over the place with their inks; Copper Orange and Dark Lilac are among my favorite inks from anyone, ever. But then sometimes you get that neon green stuff, and you wonder if someone fell down and hit their head on something hard.)

Though, trying to put a good spin on it: maybe it will be a dramatically-shading turqoise, like Noodler's Navajo Turqoise, with a subtle metallic-pink halo-sheen. I'd get me a bottle of that in a hot second.

That shade of blue is one of my favorite colors, so I might just pick up the pen! I'll wait for reviews on the ink. I could use a dry turquoise, but I also have a lot of turquoises so it'll need to have some verve to it for me to go in on it.

I'm cautiously excited!

I'm not thrilled. How about you? I would enjoy cinammon or nutmeg or matcha green or million others than this. Of course, I'll buy it and review it but I feel betrayed :/

I was whispered to that next year's Lamy LE would be more "guy suitable" than recent more-sensitive colours of purple & pink...!

Hope it's a stronger shade of turquoise not a weak limp babyblue. :)

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
