"d" Nib On A 1935/6 Mb 221 Button Filler ?

Hi,

 

Another question regarding the nib of a petite high top malachite green button filler 221.

What nibs have "D" inside the MB star? According to the MB diary this pen should have a no.1 nib.

Nib with "D" inside MB star is it from Montblanc Nr 32D.

These pens was produced in years 1962-1973.

These nibs for to make copies by carbon paper.

It is very hard nib.

For me not.
In Polish language word "Pen" is a man, and word "Nib" is a girl.
30 years is not so much for this marriage. :P

... these are hard (rigid) nibs to make copies on carbon paper.

 

"D" stands for "Durchschreibfeder" ... the German word for this special nib type. These nibs were around for many years ... even in the 20ties and of course also later.
