I don't know if this is the proper place to put this, so if it isn't, please feel free to move it to a more appropriate place :).

 

2 Inks arrived from Japan, yesterday, and I love them both! I'm a real fan of orange inks that shade, and these two both shade, as well as sheen a pretty silver color.

 

Ink 1) Sailor Jentle Mokusei

Ink 2) Kobe #25--Tarumi Apricot

 

They're both very similar, but you can see they're not the same.

 

The Kin-Mokusei is more orange/yellow, while the Kobe #25 is more orange/red. Aren't they pretty?

Irish Eyes, I'm sending you CRVs with Sailor Honey and Diamine Peach Haze so we can CRV these inks.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Sounds great! I'll enjoy seeing how they all compare to each other. I've been wanting to get the Peach Haze, but haven't, yet, and I know that Sailor Honey is no longer available. I hope one of these 2 comes close to the Sailor Honey, because I've fallen in love with that ink! I love the photos I've seen of Peach Haze, too--such a vibrant color, and dog knows, I DO love vibrant colors :D.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
