The bottle is very cheap plastic and funny looking. But i think for the capacity of 500 ml its expected.

They do have 60 ml bottles too.

Wow, what a large bottle. It looks similar to a vintage strip ink. I wonder if you could take a sample and try adding some blue or black ink? Maybe even add both?

Nice review .. Which pen are you using ???

I made few ink samples on papers available in india. Here http://imgur.com/a/nYTnQ , will arranging them with proper reviews on my blog (casually made) https://amindwideopen.wordpress.com/

Daytone bottles are ridiculously made, fit only for eyedropper pens. I had to empty the ink in a wine glass for filling up convertor pens.

I'd love some. And I think you may find many takers if you make it available in 50 or 60ml batches. I actually have a 60ml bottle of this. Thanks for reminding me, I'm going to dig it out and fill a pen. Soon.

I used a gama popular or forever. I bought them together so I always forget which one is which. They have the same nibs. And its their proprietary nib, i suppose, not the jowo nibs.

It is available in 60 ml bottles, with 15 such bottles for INR 400 ( 1 USD = 64 INR roughly). You can buy 15 bottles of one colour or an assortment of 15 different colour bottles. I think that would be cool though i havent personally tried it.

Thanks. 15 bottles of 60ml is a bit much of one color for me... I don't have 15 friends using them either - not locally!

Too bad...

You can buy 15 assorted colors too. And may be if you inquire, they may make suitable arrangement for you.

I sent them an email to ask about possibilities. Let's see what develops.

I got an email where they explained how to order the assorted colors and let them know which colors I wanted; they also explained that they can only ship the 15 (that's how their box is configured) and also that they are not set up yet for international shipping, but they would let me know when they had arranged for that. There were several emails back and forth. I got the impression something may indeed develop.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
