hello all i am new to this whole thing but i am really ready to get started i am 19 years old and have really taken this up to start to have a motivation to have better handwriting. plus i herd that writing makes you smarter and the girls dig it

How true ! Please don't mention this again. My wife sometimes reads over my shoulder. :lticaptd:

Actually, girls (like everyone else) "dig" getting a handwritten letter. Text says, "How ya doin'?". A handwritten letter says, "I have been thinking of you." The stamp is only 47¢.

 

Soooooo, what do you use for daily writing ?

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
