Dilution Of Noodler's La Reine Mauve

Greetings All,

 

I love the color and waterproofness of Noodler's La Reine Mauve, but would like to get some shading with it in a flex pen.
Has anyone come up with a perfect ink:water ratio to produce a little shading with this ink?
Before I experiment with this rather pricey ink, I wanted to see if someone had already done the work.

Is easy to experiment with ink. Just pour 2ml in a vial and add drops of water until you get the desired result.

 

NEVER... NEVER experiment on a full bottle.

Even I learned not to experiment on a full bottle a second time.

Yeah, I'd never do something silly like ruin a bottle, but even messing up 2ml is a big deal when the ink costs $13.50 per ounce (not including shipping all the way to China)!

 

I've seen posts about people diluting LRM to reduce feathering, but none so far about increasing shading.
