Their ink is reasonably priced and customer service is superb...

I think their new packaging is almost leak proof

Maybe the packaging *the bottles* are but the way they pack them for shipping needs improvement. I am ordering a lot of things online, I mean A LOT, including stamps, china, glass to tools, pipes, pens, inks, etc... unfortunately, I can confirm not the half of them can pack things properly. It is always better to "overpack" than to trust in good fortune. Postal services are a brutish horde of savage idiots, mostly. You cannot change that BUT you have to accept that and pack accordingly (well you can change the carrier and send feedbacks of course). You must expect your package to be thrown, stepped on, push from sides, get stuck under much bigger packages, etc.

I can confirm their superb service in trying to work out a way to get my inks to me.

Alas, they seem to have run out of carriers willing to ship to me. I could still have the package shipped to the US, and then use my remailer to send it to me. That would mean that the total cost of the package would be roughly 4 times the cost of the ink itself. I am now looking at alternative ways to spend my money with them. They've been so good in trying to help, I almost feel honor bound to buy something... Really sorry not to get the inks (but then it's not as if I don't have any ink... lol)

Hi guys,

We've finally managed to start shipping the Krishna Inks to the USA in a reliable manner :D

That being said the shipping of inks to the USA and other parts of the world still costs a bomb! We're exploring the option of getting the inks stocked with some online stationery store in the North America and Europe who do international shipping in at a reasonable price point.

Would be great if someone can recommend some good online stationery stores in the US and Europe that have reasonable domestic and international shipping rates and we shall try to get in touch with them.

Thanks in advance :)

I tried a few Krishna inks. I did not find them so good. They seem to feather more than PR and Waterman. I wish they created inks equally good. I am sure they can if they apply themselves and are encouraged.

If you find that Waterman inks feather perhaps it is more a case of what paper is being used

I have had two custom made pens by Dr. Sree. They are fantastic.

Also, I LOVE the pomegranate colour ink. It's wet and beautiful!

There has been an update of your site. That is great. Now we can see what all inks are available properly.

I gave some feedback about inks to Dr Sreekumar. Hope you act on it and sort it out too. It will be great to see world class inks made and sold all over the world from India.

Sorry, just being a "tad" lazy... Would you mind posting the link to their site? ;)

Thank you so much,

The inks are now available in Europe from http://www.izods.ink/inks

The page works best on the desktop right now, might be a little buggy on some phones :)

The Dark Rose looks gorgeous.. Its s shame he stopped producing this color..

I've bought some colors, expecting them tomorrow... Hoping to enjoy them with the pilot metropolitan (fine and medium) plus a couple of parkers and a rebranded chinese one...

One question is whether you guys have observed any changes in the ink sitting in plastic bottles that dr. Sreekumar sends them in

Vaibhav, thanks for your reviews, on your site as well..

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
