visvamitra
http://imageshack.com/a/img903/6787/QslPHK.jpg Kobe (神戸市 Kōbe-shi) is the sixth-largest city in Japan and is the capital city of Hyōgo Prefecture. It is located on the southern side of the main island of Honshū, on the north shore of Osaka Bayand about 30 km (19 mi) west of Osaka. With a population around 1.5 million, the city is part of the Kyoto-Osaka-Kobe metropolitan area along with Osaka and Kyoto. Its name comes from "kanbe" (神戸), an archaic title for supporters of the city's Ikuta Shrine. Kobe became one of Japan's 17 designated cities in 1956. Kobe is famous for its shirines and nioce architecture but among fountain pen and ink afficionados the name Kobe cause increased heart-rate. The city is a home of Nagasawa-Kobe stationery shop that offers incredible lione of more than fifty inks made by Sailor. http://imageshack.com/a/img908/7578/dtzhVS.jpghttps://kobe-nagasawa.co.jp/ My master - plan is to prepare comparison of full line of Nagasawa-Kobe inks. Not an easy task as they're not the most obtainable inks on the market, but hopefully I'll manage to do it At the moment Nagasawa-Kobe offers 52 inks:Rokko GreenPier BlueOld Foreigner Ward SepiaKitano Foreigners Residence RedEast Asia BlackKobe BordeauxKaikyo BlueArima AmberSuma PurpleMikage GreyIkuta OrangeOkamoto PinkNunobiki EmeraldMaya LapisMaiko GreenNada BrownShioya BlueSannomiya PanseMinatogawa LimeMotomachi RougeTaisanji YellowShinkaichi GoldNagata BlueNakayamate BlackTarumi ApricotWadamisaki BlueKounan MaroonSuzuran GreenSuma Kaihin BlueOoji CherryKaigan Stone GreyTamon Purple GreyRikyuu Moon YellowSourakuen Tea GreenSuwayama Leaf GreenSakaemachi IndigoMinatojima Island BlueKitanozaka Night BlueKobe BrickSumiyoshi BrownSuma Rikyu RoseRokko Island SkyGakuen Toshi Fresh GreenSumaura Seaside BlueHashibuse Silhouette GreenNagisa Museum GreyAoya Cascade GreenSuidousuji Marchais BlueKitano Olive GreenKyo-machi Legend BlueKano-cho Midnight Shioya Vintage Sepia Ijinkan Red looks stunning. It's kind of Carmine Red. I was surprised once I tried the sample because I was expecting the ink will be red without carmine undertones. Anyway I find this one amazing. I would appreciate if someone who has it / tried it could sharte some scans or impressions. If my sample is right I've found one of best "reds" ever. http://imageshack.com/a/img907/8780/luBAxy.jpg Drops of ink on kitchen towel http://imageshack.com/a/img905/1869/Txhxpy.jpg Software ID http://imageshack.com/a/img633/7614/bTbuOt.jpg Color range http://imageshack.com/a/img903/3963/0MEPV7.jpg Tomoe River, Kaweco Classic Sport, B http://imageshack.com/a/img910/512/kEkyaQ.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img910/7326/Gdt6HZ.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img907/2387/Vup0Xf.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img907/2387/Vup0Xf.jpg Leuchturm 1917, Kaweco Classic Sport, B http://imageshack.com/a/img907/8026/plxvFG.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img905/5141/j475xJ.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img908/1001/Ru9mbw.jpg Oxford, Hero 5028, stub 1,9 http://imageshack.com/a/img911/1198/ej0Oee.jpg https://wondernaut.wordpress.com/
migo984
I have this but I haven't used it for a while. From memory I thought it was more of a dark rusty red (I think it is named after the roof tiles in Foreigners' Ward?). I'll have to get it out & check it again. From memory I thought it was more of a dark rusty red (I think it is named after the roof tiles in Foreigners' Ward?). I'll have to get it out & check it again. Me too.. me memory of it was a rusty red.. leaning to burgundy... It might have been the paper, in any case, not really to my liking and I sold the bottle (kept a sample). I will have to dig my sample and check again. Your pics make it look stunning.. C. **** BauerInks.ca ******** MORE.... episkey
I'm not big on reds, but I think I like this one! Loving all your Kobe reviews, by the way.
Joban
Great reviews. I will have to add this red to my inventory. Thanks for your hard work.
amberleadavis
VIS, you make all inks look great. DrDebG
Another great review! And this looks like another ink I must add to my shopping list. "Today will be gone in less than 24 hours. When it is gone, it is gone. Be wise, but enjoy! - anonymous today
Joban
I received my bottle last week and have been using it daily. I am not disappointed. A perfect red IMO for daily use (February is Valentine day so red is my ink from Jan 15-Feb 15). Your review was spot on. Many thanks again for an excellent review.

Joban
Not sure if this attachment worked. I used an Omas 360 with a EF Nib.

Joban
I just wrote on a note pad, nothing fancy for paper and just everyday item. Bricky is a fair assessment of the color. But IMO a fun color.
saskia_madding
I wish it looked more like the OP's photos. My experience was pretty dusky and bricky, and I haven't used it since I first tried it. http://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/index.php/topic/261536-about-my-reviews/
countrysquire
How would you rate this against Oku Yama from the Four Seasons line? My eyes tell me it's quite similar, but without the pinkish undertones of Oku Yama.
farazqamar
Hey Visvamitra, Excellent review like always. I have a quick question: is this review for the same ink that you used for the writing sample in your review of the Aurora 85th anniversary? To my eyes, the ink in that review looks so so much brighter and a totally different ink. If you remember, can you please confirm? thanks. -F
