visvamitra
http://imageshack.com/a/img903/6787/QslPHK.jpg Kobe (神戸市 Kōbe-shi) is the sixth-largest city in Japan and is the capital city of Hyōgo Prefecture. It is located on the southern side of the main island of Honshū, on the north shore of Osaka Bayand about 30 km (19 mi) west of Osaka. With a population around 1.5 million, the city is part of the Kyoto-Osaka-Kobe metropolitan area along with Osaka and Kyoto. Its name comes from "kanbe" (神戸), an archaic title for supporters of the city's Ikuta Shrine. Kobe became one of Japan's 17 designated cities in 1956. Kobe is famous for its shirines and nioce architecture but among fountain pen and ink afficionados the name Kobe cause increased heart-rate. The city is a home of Nagasawa-Kobe stationery shop that offers incredible lione of more than fifty inks made by Sailor. http://imageshack.com/a/img908/7578/dtzhVS.jpghttps://kobe-nagasawa.co.jp/ My master - plan is to prepare comparison of full line of Nagasawa-Kobe inks. Not an easy task as they're not the most obtainable inks on the market, but hopefully I'll manage to do it At the moment Nagasawa-Kobe offers 52 inks:Rokko GreenPier BlueOld Foreigner Ward SepiaKitano Foreigners Residence RedEast Asia BlackKobe BordeauxKaikyo BlueArima AmberSuma PurpleMikage GreyIkuta OrangeOkamoto PinkNunobiki EmeraldMaya LapisMaiko GreenNada BrownShioya BlueSannomiya PanseMinatogawa LimeMotomachi RougeTaisanji YellowShinkaichi GoldNagata BlueNakayamate BlackTarumi ApricotWadamisaki BlueKounan MaroonSuzuran GreenSuma Kaihin BlueOoji CherryKaigan Stone GreyTamon Purple GreyRikyuu Moon YellowSourakuen Tea GreenSuwayama Leaf GreenSakaemachi IndigoMinatojima Island BlueKitanozaka Night BlueKobe BrickSumiyoshi BrownSuma Rikyu RoseRokko Island SkyGakuen Toshi Fresh GreenSumaura Seaside BlueHashibuse Silhouette GreenNagisa Museum GreyAoya Cascade GreenSuidousuji Marchais BlueKitano Olive GreenKyo-machi Legend BlueKano-cho Midnight Shioya Vintage SepiaAoya Cascade Green is one of few shades of green I sincerily and wholeartedly dislike. haruka337
Excited to see you getting around to the Sailor Nagasawa Kobe inks! The non-shaded parts appear too minty in color, however, it looks like a solid green. If you need samples for #12 Okamoto Pink, #13 Nunobiki Emerald, #22 Shinkaichi Gold, or #44 Sumaura Seaside Blue, message me and I'll mail it out to you. sheeptotherescue
Interesting that so many people dislike this shade! I didn't think of myself of being partial to this shade either, but in my quest to find the perfect green, this is an interesting highlight. For me, it captures the beauty of an emerald better than many inks that are named it, although people are welcome to disagree on that point. Perhaps I'll include a sample of vert reseda in my next order. My pens: Penny the Penmanship, Dot the Metropolitan, Pallas the Parallel, Neoma the High Ace Neo, Petra the Petit1, Calliope the Kakuno (Also, a Sheaffer No-Nonsense)My bottles of ink: Sailor Epinard & Ultramarine; Mysterious Blue (Wishlist: Oku Yama)
visvamitra
In the vial it also looks bluer but in the pen, you see. Anyway I still have 1 ml left so I'll fill some other pen with it and check the result. https://wondernaut.wordpress.com/

visvamitra
@AndyYNWA - hopefully I'll get some from Haruka and review it Darker turquoises aren't so bad I hate cyanoturquoises. Guys - I 've just checked Nagasawa shop on Rakten and it seems almost all of their inks are sold out. Is it the case or they just sell it in their retail shop and not via online shop? One more thing - I've filled my Haolilai 908 with the rest of Aoya sample. In Fine / Medium nib it's significantly darker. I'm at work now so I won't be able to scan these pages, but I'll do it in the evening. Edited October 13, 2015 by visvamitra https://wondernaut.wordpress.com/
Algester
diabolo menthe but darker? I'm up with that but not diabolo menthe yeesh... can you even see that pale color Store Exclusive Sailor Inks click here this has been my "personal obligation/service"
visvamitra
Here are scan of samp[les writeen with chinese Haolilai 908 (fine/medium nib) on Lyreco Budget http://imageshack.com/a/img905/2866/N2bDn7.jpg Copy paper http://imageshack.com/a/img908/7289/pFJL2R.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img903/4958/PuxOxR.jpg Clairefontaine Triomphe pad http://imageshack.com/a/img908/5760/6rGJP9.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img633/5931/2i230a.jpg It looks darker and it's surpring because usually most inks look darker when used in Kaweco broad nib. I guess I need to check if something's happening to the feed I'll repeat my question: I 've just checked Nagasawa shop on Rakten and their stationery shop website and it seems almost all Nagasawa Kobe inks are sold out. Does anyone know if it's temporoal or if some colors will be discontinued? https://wondernaut.wordpress.com/
haruka337
I don't believe any colors (aside from limited editions) will be discontinued. This happens from time to time, when the stock of inks run low. Atsu (cool-japan) has a few colors left in his ebay store, but I'm going to email him tonight to see when he's going to get more in or when Nagasawa will replenish there stock: cool-japan eBay Store Vanness has a few colors too: https://vanness1938.com/?q=kobe_ink Ink, a drug.― Vladimir Nabokov, Bend SinisterInstagram: a.transient.life
