I was wondering if you have any other JoWo nibs in stock, other than the B nib.

I was wondering the same thing. I shot him an email at unik.services@hotmail.com but haven't heard back quite yet.

I don't think so. Mine took a bit longer to get here but get here they did. Shipped out in the middle of holiday season? That will add time to its travel... I think mine were enroute between four and five weeks.

Good luck. Let us know when you get it. Also, have you received the tracking number? Check with your order number on the website, or drop Asa a mail to ask; that should tell you where more or less your package is... If the Indian post system tells you there is no information, check your country's mail system.

Hi Subramaniam,

I also sent email with a couple of questions and have received no reply. Is there a better email address for him?

I received notification that mine was shipped Dec 26. Still not here, should I begin to get worried?

Hi Sir,

I understand there is delay. I have spoken to my post-office and they are looking into this.

My understanding is that there was a Flood situation, because of which many shipments got delayed. This delay got worsened because of Christmas and New Year time as traffic was high.

I am co-ordinating with my post team. Be assured the shipment will reach you.

hi. i think you have to go to the asa pen website and put in your order.

the link is http://asapens.in/eshop/index.php?route=common/home

you should be able to indicate your preference etc there in the order and pay for it.

:P what you think of me is none of my business ;)

Subramaniam,

I would like to put an order in on your website for a Jowo 1.1 in matte black with no clip. I understand there are some delays with the Jowo nibs which probably explains the lack of options on your site. If you would not mind sending me a message when stock comes in I would appreciate it. Looking forward to doing business with you and having my first pen from India.

Thank you,
William

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
