Sailor Pro Gear KOP Sunlight from the Ocean Floor.  Available for pre-order from endlesspens for $386 (use discount code STARS).  It was briefly available early in their July sale, and now is back!  But the sale ends at 11:59 EST.  I couldn't resist.  I love the various Sailor pens with sparkles!

Pretty one!  What nib?

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Medium.  That and broad are all you normally get on KOPs.  I think of it as the generic waiting for the nib meister.

Lat year I bought a Travelers Company brass pen. Tiny when closed but nearly full size when opened and capped. Cute.

I have one of those too. I like it a lot. Mine is the Factory Green version.

A 1940's Eversharp Skyline, blue cap and barrel, gold trim 14k Manifold Fine nib is on it's way soon.

I just spontaneously purchased an Eversharp Symphony 913 in burgundy with a fine nib. In my defense, it was really cute and super inexpensive.

Congrats!

I'm not very good with Eversharp numbers. 913 — Is this a pen with a symmetrical or asymmetrical cap?

It’s a late Symphony variant, it looks symmetrical to me, the pen is a basic cigar shape. The listing pictures are not very good, but I can link you to an archived listing at Peyton Street Pens for reference:

I was thinking of adding a Lamy Studio in Royal Red to my Lamy collection, but when I saw it I couldn't stop taking out the credit card.

Got it. Thanks!

Beautiful color and I like the tapering of the body towards the threads.

Moore Finger tip fountain pen, Eider down in good condition.

I was just about to add that it probably needs a sac and decided to as least soak it to see if it worked at all.

Results?

It works perfectly, sac, nib and lever.

Totally amazed.

I may end up keeping this one for myself!

Thank you! It should be arriving Wednesday morning, then I can see what condition it’s in.

I bought a Platinum 3776 Century Bourgogne <B> this summer.

It was 40% off at a Swedish web shop, so I only paid 1017 SEK (88 €, 97 USD) for it. 😊

Very nice pen. I have one. Only gripe is the section and the mould line on it. The nib is next level vs other pens in the price range in Europe.

Yesterday I found a Parker Duofold International Blue Mosaic fountain pen for what I thought was a very good price, so I snapped it up, breaking my pen moratorium. Or so I thought. Shortly after I got a message that it had been sold in the shop and the clerk forgot to update the online interface. Oh well, it's probably for the best. It's not like I needed that pen. Much.

Well....this was truly impulsive. I believe this is a gray striated Parker Vacumatic Shadow Wave desk set. The nib needs to be replaced, but that's no problem.

Not a steal necessarily at $72, but still a good deal....(I hope)....

Original eBay listing.

It's been a rough few weeks and I needed some IRL cheering up. Fates smiled on me with the arrival of this charming set, a very modest Champion fountain pen and pencil, likely from the late 1930s or just thereafter. This would have been from one of the many 'jobber' companies that assembled from various parts, but this one has decent plating, a nice nib, and better-than-average build.

What catches my eye, and keeps me picking up these 3rd tier gems, is how much the colorway and patterning is like the trends of the moment, kick-started a few years ago by Jonathon Brooks of @carolinapencompany. It's a light-hearted, fun addition to my colorful clown pens, and made me smile.

Nice find! I love the material.  It does appear suitable for cheering up duty.

I hope to see you at the SF Pen Show next week!

Happy writing!

Really wonderful and I love the print. Ain’t FP grand? Add, “cheering up” to the list of things they do well.
