I just had my birthday, and I DID get some inks! Diamine Ancient Copper, Autumn Oak and Silver Fox. Oh, and I may also have given myself a box of three 15 ml Iroshizuku samples...very excited to receive these, my first Iro inks!

I was trying to figure out some way to make a "Judy's Turn to Cry" reference! Well done!

A one pound box of Thistle ink powder. I'm not greedy. Much.

Wait, the powder to mix one quart is available again on ebay from a different seller.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Dang it, in my continual search for Thistle I neglected to look for it bundled with other stuff. I'm getting more savvy now.

Sailor Sakura-Mori and Irori.

Maruzen Nihombashi Sakura, Midori, and Kirin.

Noodler's Tahitian Pearl.

more MB Racing Green so I don't have to hoard mine so zealously.

LOL, you cross reference that spreadsheet of 740+ inks to be sure you don't already have those? J/k, j/k

Leonardo Red Chalk, Jonathan Swift Seaweed Green, Racing Green, Omas Triratna Orange and Vespucci red, Sailor Cigar and galons more.

Have you seen Red Cashmere heavily diluted? Many say it looks like Red Chalk, but I've never seen it.

It does and it still performs well.

:lticaptd:

Actually, I realized yesterday that I forgot to put another one on my list :headsmack: -- it's De Atramentis Albrecht Dürer! Yes, it's probably just relabelled Silver Grey (of which I have a bottle labelled as D'A Tchaikovsky). But it's a lovely ink. When I first tried it, the line made me think of silverpoint drawings. And the idea of having ink that looked liked silverpoint drawings named after one of my favorite artists -- one who sometime worked in silverpoint, IIRC -- was just too cool....

Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

I would be thrilled to receive bottles of Skrip Kings Gold and Peacock Blue for my birthday or any other occasion.

All the colors! Emerald of Chivor, to get on the hype train. I tend toward vibrant colors, except pink... and yellow. I really want to get more Iroshizuku. Anybody else actually like the look of Chiku-rin? A lot of people say it is too light.

Heh. I am, alas, quite sure I don't have them. The Maruzens hurt the most, as they were limited editions that came out pretty recently and which I missed out on. I never really had a chance with the Sailor or Tahitian Pearl, as I didn't get back into pens/inks until late 2011. At that time, I snagged my one bottle of MBRG for $50 which I thought was crazy for one bottle of ink but now I know better. :)

*raises hand* I do. But then I seem to frequently like the Iroshizukus others don't. Wouldn't fancy it in too fine a nib though; broad and wet is the way to happiness. Kinda reminds me of the colour of tennis balls, so it's my go-to for Wimbledon fortnight.

If Diamine could formulate some Ancient Copper that doesn't grow nib crud and choke the feed of my franken-Unique, I'd love to have a vat of that. And a sample of Penman Sapphire, just out of curiosity.

Since I've now got Emerald of Chivor, the must have on my list is the Diamine Shimmertastic inks (All. The. Inks.). Grabby hands were made at the screen, pouting at the calendar has been done XD

So, what's your point?

(Mine is a flexible F.)
