 Fred

I was a sailor  I was born upon the tide And with the sea, I did abide

I sailed a schooner round the Horn to  Mexico Went aloft and furled the

mainsail in a blow And when the yards broke off they said that I got

killed

But I am living still

I fly a starship Across the Universe divide And when I reach the other

side  I'll find a place to rest my spirt if I can  Perhaps I may become a

highway man again Or I may simply be a single drop of rain

But I will remain

I'll be back again and again and again and again

Great quote, though I am not sure Robert Frost lived 139 years (or is that “2” a “7” that I am not recognizing?😃)

Seven. Sometimes written at breakneck speed....you start at two and change to seven.

Yes, lovely. I am trying to teach myself to write with my right hand in hopes that someday I can create a pointed-pen hand about half that beautiful.

If you are a left-handed writer you are already at an advantage over right-handed writers for pointed pen calligraphy. Just use a straight pen holder or a flexy fountain pen.

If you are to be ephemeral, leave a good scent.

Thanks for the tip. I hadn't thought of that. I'll start with a flexy fountain pen, and go from there. I am a bit of side-/underwriter, so I often struggle with smearing before the ink is dry, but I agree, given the strokes needed for a flexible, pointed pen, underwriting seems quite feasible.

Mic drop

I love the smell of fountain pen ink in the morning.
