Yes, they have, already brought those. Well, last time took them around 5 or 7 months if I good remember.

Actually, I've just received an mail from them. They said that hey can only get it in their next order form J.Herbin, but that's only going to happen next year....

Luckily I have one of this on pre-order elsewhere.

What an outrageous and impractical ink. I mean, what possible use could it have? This is one ink I simply don't need. And look at the price! *sigh* Ah well, I tried to convince myself not to get it... I'm off to order it right now!

Exactly. That's why I have two bottles on pre-order from different sources. [sigh]

Oooh! I got on the Massdrop so I'll pick up the three I don't have, plus I've ordered a bottle of the Emerald from my local B&M store to support him, and encourage him to carry more Herbin.

OK, sold. Can't wait.

I was on an update email from Cult Pens when new stock arrived. The email came today, just as I'd seen this thread. I call that fate.

 

Now I need to work out which pen to use it in, or whether to buy a new TWSBI Eco to show it off.

Will it be easy to wash from a piston filler?

Yeah, a lot of ink.

In the country where I live, getting waterman is a little difficult, Mont Blanc is easy, but the rest of the international brands are impossible since no one imports them. Seeing the cost of these inks, there will be little to no demand for them.

So I import them in larger quantities so that it's cheaper and I can go for longer periods without importing more inks.

Plus, shipping gets cheaper as the weight of the parcel increases. :)

I ordered 2 of Emerald, 1 of Stormy Grey & 1 of Bleu Ocean. I really needed to add these to 1 each of Stormy, Bleu & Rouge (as well as 60 other bottles of ink). I'd hate to run out.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
