I love this one, too! You've put out a few really great reviews. It's very helpful to see different nibs and their performance with each ink. Thanks so much!

This ink is so subtle, so delicate, but also complex.

On my monitor, it looks like it could be a shade of Noodler's 'Walnut'

Thanks for the review; I always look forward to yours, they're so simple, direct and informative.

This is one of those inks that you really need the right pen for. Like most J. Herbin inks, the saturation is fairly low, so it can look washed out with the wrong pen/paper combination. I love using it in my flexy Waterman's 52!

This appears quite dark on my monitor. I have a bottle around somewhere; I'd better compare it with the real thing.

"One can not waste time worrying about small minds . . . If we were normal, we'd still be using free ball point pens." —Bo Bo Olson "I already own more ink than a rational person can use in a lifetime." —Waski_the_Squirrel

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.

i see this ink had a lot of greyish tone to it, which how i would prefer it to be. i like grey inks and this particular color tone is interestingly nice in comparison to other grey inks out there.

@Ruaidhri This was an absolutely wonderful bit of writing, and I hope that you're able to maintain the style once all of the medications are out of your system.  Take care and recover quickly!

These comments make me sad as I sympathise with Ruaidhri, having great difficulties in being taken seriously. Or being taken at all (no off-colors jokes, please!) In spite of overwhelming odds,  Ruaidhri -now I know how to spell it- made a courageous decision and stuck to it. I was diagnosed with a similar growth in a place I will not reveal. Oh, well, if you insist it was Mount Sinai Hospital. But I firmly intend to walk in Ruaidhri's footsteps, if he will let me, on my next visit to Dublin.

Reminds me of the day my associates and I developed a cure for all mankind's ills and mistakenly wrote it down with invisible ink.

Was that the end of the Laboratory? Somehow the exactitude created a fully destructive device, as always!
