Recommended Posts

Hello there folks! Thanks for letting me be in this forum! I was wondering are there any nib substitution for the Jinhao 129?

Hmmm. I am not familiar with a Jinhao 129, could you mean the 159? That pen and many Chinese pens (though not all) takes a number 6 nib

I think you mean Jinhao 159. If it is the case, you will easily find replacement nibs on ebay ( some sell them by 5 units' packs).

He may also mean a Jinhao 126...

I wish there was a list of all the Jinhao pens and if the nibs come out and what size... I was looking for a Jinhao originally that took a #6 nib to try my Noodler's flex in but was hard to figure out which took what after a while. :)

The X750 will take a #6. Haven't tried a Noodlers, but the Goulet brand fits like a charm. (Not associated--just a happy customer.)

I've read reports from people who managed to make a Noodler's nib fit into their Jinhao pens - but it hasn't worked for some others, and it didn't work for me... Goulet nibs, on the other hand, are a really good fit
