Here is the review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiyAiUX1ywA

Has anyone tried this Pen before? I have just seen this pen on the office site of Luxor.. They say, its out of stock.. I will be calling Luxor to see if they still have this pen.

If i am not wrong, Luxor sells Parker and Pilot pens in India. Who knows, they might have borrowed the technology of these companies to produce a very nice pen of their own. This review says so, atleast.

If anyone can provide me the link from where i can get this pen, i would be more than happy.

I bought a stainless steel Luxor pen with a converter in Moscow, Russia around 8 years ago for the equivalent of five dollars. I don't use it much but it is decent, though not fancy at all.

Today I noticed that the same pen (used) in black is now being sold on Ebay by a person in Russia. The price is low but the shipping charge is quite high. You'd be better off with a new Pilot 78g for that money.

If anyone reads Russian, here is a discussion about Luxor pens on the Russian equivalent of this website:

The general opinion is that they are only of average quality and that the nib often needs adjustment, with either too much or too little ink available. Several people recommended the Parker Vector as a much better alternative.

I remember this pen (Luxor Steel). Its pretty slim, if i am not wrong? I got it pen back in 1998 and i hated this pen for having the worst ink flow system (now that i have tried a lot of pens, i can say it wasn't that bad :P). But still, a vector is a better choice anytime.

But in the above video, of the Luxor Cartridge Fountain pen, i kinda liked the ink flow and the guy (in the review) is also speaking great about it. Plus, its less than a dollar.. I would love to own that one, for sure...

@Ruaidhri This was an absolutely wonderful bit of writing, and I hope that you're able to maintain the style once all of the medications are out of your system.  Take care and recover quickly!

These comments make me sad as I sympathise with Ruaidhri, having great difficulties in being taken seriously. Or being taken at all (no off-colors jokes, please!) In spite of overwhelming odds,  Ruaidhri -now I know how to spell it- made a courageous decision and stuck to it. I was diagnosed with a similar growth in a place I will not reveal. Oh, well, if you insist it was Mount Sinai Hospital. But I firmly intend to walk in Ruaidhri's footsteps, if he will let me, on my next visit to Dublin.

Reminds me of the day my associates and I developed a cure for all mankind's ills and mistakenly wrote it down with invisible ink.

Was that the end of the Laboratory? Somehow the exactitude created a fully destructive device, as always!
