Any Montegrappa Piacere Owners? Plz. Give A Review

Hi there!

Montegrappa Piacere seems to be a new model: many offers on ebay and shops but no reviews at all. Since I prefer slim pens like Parker Vector I like the design of the Piacere.

Are there any owners of this pen here? Could you please give a brief review or share your opinion on this pen?

Good looking pen! I recently got my first Montegrappa and love the way it looks and writes (Memoria). Isn't the Piacere on pre-order?

It looks like a nice entry level Montegrappa but did you know you can probably pick up a 300 or 400 series Montegrappa for about the same price or less? They are relatively slim pens and often found with the wonderful 18K Montegrappa nibs.

Jar, no I didn't know that, thank you. I also agree that Piacere pens are a little bit overpriced for an entry level with steel nibs!

The 300/400 are slim pens, similar to the Sheaffer Targa, Parker "75" and others of that era. Here it is compared to a Targa.

Exactly! Recently I picked up a half dozen of NOS 300s (sterling body, lacquered cap) for around 135USD each, shipping included. Wonderful pens, just too slim.
