Hi Guys:

 

Not sure how is everyone's schedule... but I have family coming over the weekend and won't be able to attend, much less able to find a suitable venue.

 

 

If anyone is able to attend, please post here... That way we all know if there is a meet or not. :lol:

I will check back to see where you may be meeting. I have to pop in to the office Sunday so may be able to spend an hour but right now I am looking towards 2015 for a chance to sit longer and enjoy everyone's great company. Let me know where you all may decide to meet by posting here or send me a back channel good Ol fashioned email.

Rob Maguire (Plse call me "M or Mags" like my friends do...)I use a Tablet, Apple Pencil and a fountain pen. Targas, Sailor, MB, Visconti, Aurora, vintage Parkers, all wonderful.

It looks like there will NOT be a meet this Sunday.

 

On the upside... we are ALL looking forward to 2015 to have a proper meet... :lol:

 

(We just need to find a better place than The Fox and the Fiddle) ;)

Well maybe the Reference Library the next meet up. Happy New Year and Merry Christmas to all.

Glad I checked the thread - looks like I won't drive in!

 

Looking fwd to a 2015 meetup ...

 

PS I posted a WTB for an Edison Collier in Silver Marble and someone PM'd me saying they recall someone had one for sale at a recent Toronto meetup. Does that sound familiar to anyone ? If so, send them my way :)

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
