Hmmm - it's dry pen, really. It looks even more saturated in Kaweco. My initial impressions are positive although I can understand why some people won't like it. The only cryticism I have is the fact it's not the ink you can easily use if you have tendency to leave the pen uncapped on the desk. It'll dry out after 40 - 60 seconds. But tests are still being made, let's wait with the verdict.

Thank you for this post & previous one showing a nice sample of the ink in use. I just received notice my bottle is on the way & I am excited to see I like this ink "even better, the more I see of it!" It had been a bit more subtle in earlier reviews & I am grateful for this example. I was happy with the subtlety of the Stone Rd of Gion, enough to order it with this ink, but you have made me very anxious for THIS one's arrival.

Thank you for sharing so many inks in review that we would never know about, nor experience; I surely am grateful to see the efforts of your knowledge & hard works shared here.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Diamine Oxford Blue sample arrived, it's very nice, between MB Permanent Blue and Oxford I might have a new daily ink.

I am playing with two inks that I ordered from Tekker. One is what I had originally called "Tan Pink" but now think is a dead-ringer for the old "Silly Putty" we used to play with when I was a kid. The other, "Azul Celeste" is the official sky-blue color of the Argentine flag:

The pen in rotation is Waterman Kultur ( fine nib) and it is inked with Diamine Majestic Blue. The pen is absolute wet writer and the ink has a beautiful stunning golden sheen. I love this ink.

The ink is just plain gorgeous, love the flow, the lubrication, the colour and top of that all, the massive sheen.

Architekt - Herbes alla Roma. I've come to enjoy the flow of this ink--wet writer with a med/broad nib. Today using a Piper FP with a Jinhao Med. Nib. This nib writes more like a broad nib, really requiring a 24# weight paper. Experienced bleedthrough using the Rhodia Dot Pad. Did better with 24# weight copy paper. This color ink would really stand out using ivory, gold or copper colored paper. Will be using some Southworth Fine Parchment Paper to write a couple of letters later today. The green is not quite as dark as we see in the snap; it is somewhat lighter, yet nicely saturated. The last time I wrote a letter with this ink, the recipient loved it with the ivory colored parchment paper. This recipient is now a fountain pen user--has thrown away his ballpoints--and has been bitten by the 'bug'.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
