Are Amalfi Long Folded Notes Fountain Pen Friendly?

Am on the prowl for high quality stationary for special occasion correspondence that demands more than a note or card.

Came across this product, which looks and sounds great, but I have to wonder if it is FP friendly? I assume that even if it is, no EF, F, or FM nibs allowed and a soft touch is a given, right?

Any other recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

I used one as a journal. The paper is a beautiful, slightly off white, thick, and really luxurious. It produced drier ink because of its composition. It took fine to a FP (a medium, wet, Phileas I adore). I think you're right to wonder how an EF nib would handle. My F Philieas was a great writer on it also. No soft touch needed--the paper is strong. Mine was Amalfi paper in a Barnes & Noble journal.

Where can you get the amalfi paper in sheets or in a journal? The closest I've seen is the letter set with 20 sheets and 20 envelopes.

@Ruaidhri This was an absolutely wonderful bit of writing, and I hope that you're able to maintain the style once all of the medications are out of your system.  Take care and recover quickly!

These comments make me sad as I sympathise with Ruaidhri, having great difficulties in being taken seriously. Or being taken at all (no off-colors jokes, please!) In spite of overwhelming odds,  Ruaidhri -now I know how to spell it- made a courageous decision and stuck to it. I was diagnosed with a similar growth in a place I will not reveal. Oh, well, if you insist it was Mount Sinai Hospital. But I firmly intend to walk in Ruaidhri's footsteps, if he will let me, on my next visit to Dublin.

Reminds me of the day my associates and I developed a cure for all mankind's ills and mistakenly wrote it down with invisible ink.

Was that the end of the Laboratory? Somehow the exactitude created a fully destructive device, as always!
