visvamitra
Amberlea has sent me peace of paper with Daniel Defoe and Cicada text. I've increased contrast a little bit to see what's the difference between them,. Daniel Defoe is much nicer to me because it has more yellow to it. Cyber6
Pheww..... good to know my eyes are well calibrated... ..... I did notice the extra yellow on DeFoe.. I love murky greens... leaning to brown.. leaning to yellow... ALL GOOD... I have a bottle of each on its way to me.. I believe a sample to my cheeky trafficker-smuggler extraordinaire should follow... **** BauerInks.ca ******** MORE.... amberleadavis
Remember that the Cicada has been in my pen for more than a month. I think it has darkened a little. It is wetter. amberleadavis
V- be sure to mark which ink you think is which on this page and then, wash it and see if you were correct. http://sheismylawyer.com/She_Thinks_In_Ink/2014-Inklings/slides/2014-Ink_1656.jpg Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas). oregano
Thanks so much for this comparison, amber! How do these compare to Stipula's Calamo Verde muschiato ink? The Sailor looks like it could be close, though Stipula has more yellow...
amberleadavis
I don't have the Musk any longer, it was a sample, and I'm actually not a huge fan of murky greens. Here is Stipula... http://sheismylawyer.com/She_Thinks_In_Ink/Ink_Companies/Stipula/slides/2014-Ink_020.jpg Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas). amberleadavis
Comparatively, I think the Stipula is has more golden brown tones than green tones. It is however, a really wonderfully fuss free ink. Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas). Yes, I see the difference now that's it's on the computer screen. Thanks for posting this. I guess the Stipula is closer to a combo or in between Yama-guri and the Sailor ink.
