I am sure this was to commemorate the fact that you are a member for 10 yrs now.

Congrats.

Congratulations to Karin!

On a side note I opened my kit yesterday and tried it on an old Pelikan that has been kicking around for a few decades.
I did just the pen body and left the cap alone for a comparison and it works quite nicely at removing scratches and giving a deep shine. Even my girlfriend thought the pen body and cap were from different pens when finished.

Canada Post just brought my package from TLMG. I wish I knew his name. It doesn't seem right to thank someone just using initials..but I will. TLMG, you are a class act. Not only is your polish fantastic, but you have made my year by sending this brand new smooth writing 146. I took it out of the box, filled it with Diamine Ancient Copper and it writes beautifully.

There's more though. TLMG sent me a black Habana notebook and a bottle of Noodler's Bad Black Moccasin. What a sweetheart you are.

Please support this terrific member of our community. My best wishes and prayers are with you and your Mom.

Warmest Regards,

What a classy thing to do. Not only does he give a wonderful pen for free, but he includes a notebook and ink as well! *applause* The world needs more people like you.

Sorry for not replying sooner. My mother's health has been deteriorating relatively rapidly and the chemo doesn't seem to be helping :-/

I'm glad you liked the package and I hope the pen writes beautifully :-) I wanted to make sure you had equally nice paper available. I didn't want to risk you getting it right as your stock of paper ran out, etc. :-)

Terribly sorry about your mother! Will keep her in prayers.

Your product is wonderful and you deserve many, many customers...who will be delighted.

Just wanted to let everyone know there is currently a 40% off group buy going on. You get the discount immediately, no need to wait for everyone else to order.

It's more of an "honor system" group buy!

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
