3 standard inks (black, blue-black, blue?)

2 nano-particle inks

I thought the Kobe Inks were up to 46

e.g.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/No-46-Nagisa-Museum-Bluish-Grey-NAGASAWA-Kobe-Ink-for-Fountain-Pen-Bottle-Gray-/310981902800?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4867f741d0&nma=true&si=VdF6HIFfqOSr6G%252FsbCNKz80TIQY%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

I wish these were all available without such hassle - the Kobe inks are easy enough to get via ebay economically but not the others

also - and I may be only person who thinks this - but I wish the Kobe inks had the plastic funnels in them

I thought the Kobe Inks were up to 46

It's 48 now, plus three LE (Vermeer Blue, Renoir Pink, and Turner Cafe Brown) and two SOL greens (can't remember if this is slice of life, or spice of life).

I agree about wishing that the Kobe inks were more easy to,purchase - everywhere - and also wish they had the funnel. I have found updated colors of Sailor inks difficult to find in the US. I may not be looking in the right places though!

Hmmm, I tried the ebay store listed, and ebay said "sorry this store does not exist".

But cool-japan on ebay lists the inks.

Takeshima Department Store in Nihombashi had some earlier this year but are sold out now, or at least of the colors I was interested in. They are not sure if they will get more in. I am beginning to suspect that there may be more out there.

I'm not sure what would be the stationary store in the building... if you can shed more light on the number of inks I'll be grateful

Thanks for the list of all the limited Sailor inks.

I really, really want to try the Sailor Bung Box ink bottles but they are too expensive to ship internationally.

I do own Sailor Kobe #37 Island Blue because it's blue =)

Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow

高島屋オリジナルインク A color Table of the Ink Line

たこやき青のり色 Takoyaki Ao Nori Iro (Takoyaki's Green Seaweed Color) <-- It's the most literal translation I could Imagine unless there's a non-native name for Takoyaki

泉州水なす色 Senshuu Mizu nasu Iro (Senshuu's Pickled Eggplant Color) <-- Mizu Nasu is quite misleading but scientific name is Solanum Melongena its an eggplant from Senshuu most likely if I'm mistaken please correct me

"a seasonal fruits color" I can understand. "a color table of the ink" I must admit I don't. Do you know what that means Algester?

This thread... is going to make me poor.... http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Sad/sad-023.gif

Me too! I've loved the Sailor inks I've gotten my hands on, which doesn't include any of these limited or exclusive inks. I've just got to resist that first bottle!

So many inks, so little time...

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
