General observations of Green Cashmere:
Well behaved

Easy to clean up

Excellent color

Excellent flow

Would definitely buy this

Like Red and Blue Cashmere, I love this ink, and I need large bottles, stat.

Don't believe everything you think.

Really natural reviews dead_brackets (if that makes sense) and some lovely comparisons.

Susemai must be delighted with his testers . . . !

I do like that they clean easily and do not stain.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Yes it's definitely a very good quality. Blue Balls was the only one I with problems in the Schaeffer school pen with converter. I flushed the nib/feed with a bulb, and then fill the converter with water and a blue tinge. Repeat. This happened our or five times before it got clean, But it could be that there was old ink from it's original life that was softening up. The converter was totally clean. So it was something in the feed. And I didn't use Blue Balls so long that any drying could have happened.

The scan I see got some of the inks — Green Cashmere especially — as too dark.

I'll go some more testing this weekend and mail all the originals.

Is it possible that was the Toucan Bright Blue? I found TBB to be dry and prone to surface tension.

Maybe, but I don't think so. In the First 15, we got NIP which I still have been too scared to actually put in a pen.

I LOVE this ink! I'll buy two or three bags of it when possible!

I prefer it at a higher concentration, but I think it is pretty darn cool.

I agree. I liked it more at 16%, but I'd take it here, too, if that was the only way I could get it.

OK. First Susemai review.

I must say one thing about these inks: colors are stunning however propertiees are not so thrilling. The lubrication is more or less OK, but not really good. I've received the samples in Pasteur Pipettes so I don't know the proportions of the mix but the ink dries really fast once you stop writing and take a breather. The start after 10 seconds of pause may teke a while. Green Cashmere is my favourite one together with Red Cashmere.

Amazing color. If the properties will be enhanced I would definitely consider getting a bottle. Yes - a bottle. I would like to have possibility of buying thuis ink in bottles. I'm not that much in mixing part of the fun. I'm lazy. That's all :)

HA HA... I knew you would like that. Don't get hung up on the properties... they come in powder, and although you expressed not wanting to deal with powder, I can assure you.... Powder is very forgiving and you can "tweek" to your hearts content... color/hue/wetness..

I can see that it wasn't really a "mistake" that you got that sample of MB BRG that was meant for Amberlea - my bottle of that ink has become an international sensation!

Breathe. Take one step at a time. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're not getting older, you are only moving through time. Be calm and positive.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
